Ingredients

- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almond flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate)
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Combine the rolled oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl, mixing well to combine.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, almond milk, and chocolate chips until combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until evenly combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Melt additional chocolate chips in a small saucepan or microwave and drizzle over the baked bars.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before cutting into squares.
