Description
Deliciously crispy and healthier zucchini fries made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium zucchinis
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional: panko for extra crunch)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- Cooking spray or oil for frying
- Dipping sauces (marinara, ranch, or aioli)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the zucchinis into fry shapes.
- Beat the egg in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each zucchini fry first in the egg and then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated zucchini fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.

Dry the zucchini for a crispier fry and experiment with different dipping sauces.
