Description

A refreshing blend of sweet watermelon and zesty lemon juice, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice (from 5-6 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 cups watermelon (cubed)
  • Lemon slices
  • Fresh mint
  • Watermelon wedges

Instructions

  1. Add the lemon juice, sugar, and water to a 32-ounce or larger pitcher.
  2. Stir for about a minute until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Pour the cubed watermelon into a high-speed blender and blend on high until completely pureed, 30 seconds to a minute.
  4. Add the watermelon juice to the lemonade and stir until fully combined. If desired, pour the juice through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any residual pulp.
  5. Pour lemonade into ice-filled glasses and garnish with fresh mint, watermelon and/or lemon slices.

Notes

For a sugar-free alternative, consider using stevia or monk fruit. Best enjoyed fresh and cold.
