Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Slowly stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into greased cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. While the cake is baking, whip the heavy cream and gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to make the frosting.
  7. Once the cakes are cool, frost them with the whipped cream frosting.
