Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let cool on a wire rack.
  8. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just simmering, then pour it over the chocolate chips in a bowl.
  9. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth to create the ganache.
  10. Once the cookies are cool, dip the tops into the ganache and sprinkle with decorations.
