Description

Celebrate spring with these vibrant and delightful Tomato Tulip Crostini, perfect for gatherings and cozy nights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 baguette
  • Olive oil, for brushing (about 2-3 tablespoons)
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, cut in half
  • 10-12 grape tomatoes
  • Boursin or soft herbed goat cheese
  • Chives
  • Optional: microgreens, small basil leaves


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette on a slight diagonal into ½-¾ inch (1.5 cm) thick slices and arrange them in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  3. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake until golden and crisp, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Rub the cut side of the garlic clove over each slice while warm, then let cool.
  6. Slice the grape tomatoes in half lengthwise and cut tulip shapes into the top edge of each half.
  7. Spread a layer of cheese on each crostini.
  8. Place a tomato tulip head near the top of each crostini.
  9. Cut chives into small lengths for the stems and place under the tomato tulip.
  10. Add smaller pieces of chives or microgreens/basil leaves for accents.
  11. Arrange the finished crostini on a platter and serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh for optimal crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
