Description

A delightful fusion of classic tiramisu and fudgy brownies, bringing rich flavors of coffee and cocoa in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until combined. Let cool slightly before mixing in eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Whisk together brewed coffee, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Spread the coffee mixture over the brownie layer in the pan.
  7. Top with the remaining brownie batter and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before dusting with cocoa powder and cutting into squares.
