Taco Pasta combines savory ground beef, zesty taco seasoning, and creamy cheese for a comforting meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef over medium heat in a large pot; drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and beef broth to the pot.
  3. Stir in the pasta shells and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is cooked.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese and sour cream until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a leaner option, use ground turkey or chicken. This dish can also be made vegetarian by substituting ground beef with black beans or lentils.
