Description

A delicious homemade version of the popular Taco Bell Chalupa, filled with savory meat, fresh veggies, and creamy toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground beef or chicken
  • 4 Chalupa shells
  • 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Refried beans
  • Hot sauce, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef or chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Add the taco seasoning and mix well.
  2. Heat the chalupa shells according to package instructions.
  3. Spread refried beans on each chalupa shell.
  4. Add the cooked meat mixture on top of the beans.
  5. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and hot sauce as desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Taco Bell chalupa!

For a vegetarian option, substitute meat with beans or grilled veggies.
