- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla and almond extracts, mixing well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
- Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut out shapes using cookie cutters, making sure to cut out the center of half of the cookies.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Once cooled, spread raspberry jam on the solid cookies and top with the cut-out cookies.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

- For a different flavor, try using apricot or strawberry jam.
- Make sure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
