Description

A comforting dish featuring shrimp, broccoli, and pasta in a creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add broccoli and cook for about 2-3 minutes until tender.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss to combine, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Reserve some pasta water before draining to adjust the sauce consistency if needed. Don’t overcook the shrimp; they should be just pink and not rubbery.
