Description

A delicious and healthy dish featuring baked salmon fillets on a creamy bed of avocado mash, enhanced with lime and spices.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 avocados (mashed)
  • 1 lime zest (grated)
  • 1 lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped dill
  • 1/2 red onion chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Place salmon fillets on a baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper, and cover with olive oil.
  4. Pop into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. While salmon is being baked, mash avocados in a bowl.
  6. Grate in the lime zest and squeeze in the fresh lime juice.
  7. Add in salt and chopped dill.
  8. Combine all of the ingredients.
  9. Once the salmon is baked, cover each salmon fillet with avocado mash mix and sprinkle with chopped onion.

Notes

Don’t overcook the salmon; use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Customize the spices to your liking.
