Description

A refreshing and nostalgic Southern beverage that blends black tea with the sweetness of ripe peaches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black tea)
  • 2-3 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)
  • Ice
  • Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  5. Combine the cooled tea and sliced peaches in a pitcher.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

For a sugar-free alternative, consider using stevia, monk fruit, or allulose. Adjust sweetness to personal preference.
