Description

A classic pea salad featuring sweet peas, crispy bacon, and creamy dressing that evokes nostalgia and joy at family gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sweet peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup crispy bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped onions or bell peppers


Instructions

  1. Combine in a large bowl the sweet peas, chopped bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. Mix in a separate small bowl the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Add in chopped onions or bell peppers for extra flavor if using.
