- 12 oysters, shucked
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and spinach, and sauté until the spinach wilts.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cream, Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the shucked oysters on a baking sheet. Spoon the spinach mixture generously over each oyster.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a crispier topping, broil for the last minute of baking. Use fresh herbs for extra flavor.
