Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat in a large skillet the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the sliced oyster mushrooms and cook until they are tender and slightly browned.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, allowing the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.
- If using, add the protein of your choice and stir until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
