- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 package (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
- Optional: additional chocolate chips or sprinkles for coating/decoration
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs.
- Mix the crushed Oreo cookies with the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until thoroughly combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.
- Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are completely coated.
- Place the dipped truffles back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Decorate while the chocolate is still soft; you can sprinkle some crushed Oreos or drizzle with white chocolate if desired.
- Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set before serving.
