Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup rice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups chicken broth or water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the rice and stir to combine with the garlic butter.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth or water, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover. Cook for about 15 minutes until the rice is tender.
  5. Add the shrimp, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring gently to combine.
  6. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
