- 1 cup stone-ground grits
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese

- 1 pound raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 slices turkey bacon (diced)
- ½ cup chopped white onions
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)

Instructions
- Bring a pot of chicken broth to a boil.
- Stir in salt.
- Gradually add grits while stirring continuously.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes until thickened.
- Sauté diced turkey bacon in a separate pan until crispy; remove from pan.
- Cook onions in the same pan until translucent, then add garlic.
- Add shrimp to the pan, season with Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook until pink.
- Pour in chicken broth and sprinkle Cajun seasoning; simmer briefly before adding lemon juice.
- Serve creamy grits topped with shrimp mixture.
