- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
- Sprinkles (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely.
- Beat powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla until smooth. Spread frosting on cooled cookies and top with sprinkles.
Notes
Chill the dough if it’s too soft to scoop. Don’t overbake the cookies.
