Description

A delightful pizza featuring creamy mozzarella and zesty lemon for a flavorful twist on a classic dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Pizza dough
  • Creamy mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle minced garlic evenly over the surface.
  4. Tear mozzarella cheese and distribute it over the dough.
  5. Zest and juice the lemon, then drizzle the juice over the cheese and sprinkle the zest on top.
  6. Add chopped parsley and grated parmesan over the pizza.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and slice before serving.

Notes

For a gourmet finish, try adding arugula or prosciutto after baking.
