- 4 chicken breasts
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- Fresh sage leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and top each breast with two slices of prosciutto and a few sage leaves.
- Heat the olive oil in the skillet. Add the chicken, prosciutto side down, and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the white wine to the same skillet to deglaze, scraping up any bits from the bottom.
- Stir in the butter and return the chicken to the skillet, letting it simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra sage if desired.
