Ingredients

- 2-3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme) for garnish
Instructions
- Mix in a bowl, mix together honey, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Put the beef chuck roast on top of the onions.
- Pour the honey balsamic mixture over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the roast and shred it with two forks.
- Serve with the sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider searing the beef beforehand. Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your taste.
