Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, vanilla extract, and butter flavor until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Prepare the buttercream by beating together the softened butter, powdered sugar, and butterscotch sauce until smooth and fluffy.
- Frost the cooled cookies with the butterscotch buttercream.
- Drizzle with butterscotch caramel sauce before serving.
