Description

Savory ground beef stuffed into fresh zucchini boats with marinara sauce and topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium zucchinis
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the zucchinis in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides to create boats.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  4. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  5. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Fill the zucchini halves with the beef mixture.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Place the zucchini boats on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the zucchinis are tender and the cheese is melted.
