- 2 cans hominy, drained and rinsed
- 4 tomatillos, husked and chopped
- 2 green chiles, chopped
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped

- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in tomatillos and green chiles, cooking for a few minutes until they start to soften.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the shredded chicken and hominy, followed by cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for about 30 minutes for the flavors to meld.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
