Description

A delightful Italian side dish where fresh cherry tomatoes are roasted with garlic to create a sweet and flavorful experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherry tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the cherry tomatoes under cold water and pat dry.
  3. Slice each cherry tomato in half and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Add the minced garlic over the tomatoes.
  5. Drizzle the olive oil evenly across the tomatoes and garlic.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
  7. Toss gently until the tomatoes are well coated.
  8. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the tomatoes become tender and slightly caramelized.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
