Description

Delicious grilled oysters topped with garlic herb butter, perfect for summer barbecues and special occasions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 dozen oysters
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine in a small bowl the butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shuck the oysters and place them on the grill, opening side up.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the garlic herb butter mixture onto each oyster.
  5. Close the grill lid and cook for about 5-6 minutes, or until the oysters are cooked through and the edges begin to curl.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
