Description

Indulge in the luxurious flavors of Garlic Butter Broiled Lobster Tails, a simple yet elegant dish that brings the taste of the seaside to your home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (liquefied)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground paprika
  • 2 lobster tails (approximately 6 to 8 ounces each)
  • Freshly milled black pepper and sea salt (to season)
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley (fresh or dried)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced to a fine paste)
  • Lemon slices (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Slice through the upper center of each lobster shell with kitchen scissors, stopping before the tail.
  2. Separate the meat from the shell and lift it while keeping it attached at the base. Place the meat atop the shell.
  3. Pat the lobster flesh with paper towels to remove moisture.
  4. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture onto the lobster meat.
  6. Preheat your oven’s broiler to high (about 500°F / 260°C).
  7. Place lobster tails on a foil-lined baking sheet, 5-6 inches from the broiler.
  8. Broil for 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and lightly caramelized. Brush with remaining garlic butter midway.
  9. Drizzle leftover garlic butter over the tails after cooking.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Choose fresh lobster for the best flavor. Avoid overcooking for tender meat.
