Ingredients
Scale
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (liquefied)
- ¼ teaspoon ground paprika
- 2 lobster tails (approximately 6 to 8 ounces each)
- Freshly milled black pepper and sea salt (to season)
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley (fresh or dried)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced to a fine paste)
- Lemon slices (for serving)
Instructions
- Slice through the upper center of each lobster shell with kitchen scissors, stopping before the tail.
- Separate the meat from the shell and lift it while keeping it attached at the base. Place the meat atop the shell.
- Pat the lobster flesh with paper towels to remove moisture.
- Mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture onto the lobster meat.
- Preheat your oven’s broiler to high (about 500°F / 260°C).
- Place lobster tails on a foil-lined baking sheet, 5-6 inches from the broiler.
- Broil for 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and lightly caramelized. Brush with remaining garlic butter midway.
- Drizzle leftover garlic butter over the tails after cooking.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Choose fresh lobster for the best flavor. Avoid overcooking for tender meat.
