Description

A refreshing drink that blends creamy rice, strawberries, and milk for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of uncooked white rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup of sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
  • Ice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in 4 cups of water for 2-4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  2. Drain the rice and add it to a blender with the fresh strawberries, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until well combined and smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher, pressing down to extract as much liquid as possible.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Enjoy this refreshing drink!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For best taste, use fresh strawberries.
