- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2-3 tablespoons cold water
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Combine flour, salt, and butter in a bowl. Mix until crumbly.
- Gradually add cold water, mixing until a dough forms. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix diced pineapple, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out dough and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of the pineapple mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold and seal edges, brushing with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
