Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and butter in a bowl. Mix until crumbly.
  2. Gradually add cold water, mixing until a dough forms. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix diced pineapple, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the pineapple mixture in the center of each circle.
  7. Fold and seal edges, brushing with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
