- 4 cloves garlic (minced)

- 1 medium yellow onion (diced)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 4 cups green cabbage (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 cup green onions (chopped, divided)
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 beaten eggs
- Red pepper flakes or sriracha (to taste)
Instructions
- Brown the ground pork in a large pot over medium heat until it’s cooked through and starts to crisp. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add aromatics like minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Build the soup base by adding diced yellow onion, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Add vegetables such as shredded carrots and sliced cabbage. Stir well to combine.
- Pour in the beaten eggs while stirring the soup to create ribbons of egg throughout (optional).
- Season with rice vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy!
