- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nutmeg (optional for flavor)
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.
- Add the butter, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mash until smooth.
- Stir in the beaten eggs until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Using a piping bag, pipe the potato mixture onto a baking tray into swirled shapes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
