Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the tequila, lime juice, lime zest, grapefruit juice, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting with tequila buttercream.
- Garnish with lime and grapefruit slices before serving.
