Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil in a pan for frying.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
- Dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange on a greased baking sheet if baking. If frying, place in the hot oil.
- Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side if frying, or 25-30 minutes if baking.
- Place a slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast to melt in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the top before serving.
Notes
For an extra crunchy coating, double-dip the chicken in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs.
