Description

Crispy Layered Potatoes are indulgently rich and perfectly golden layered potatoes, seasoned with garlic and butter, making them an irresistible side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick).
  3. Combine melted butter and minced garlic in a mixing bowl.
  4. Grease a baking dish with some of the butter-garlic mixture.
  5. Layer the potato slices in the dish, brushing each layer with the butter-garlic mixture and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-60 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and crispy on the outside.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving. Enjoy your fancy side dish!

Notes

Choose starchy potato varieties for the best texture. Brush generously with the butter-garlic mix for maximum flavor.
