Delicious and flaky puff pastry stacks filled with ham and cheese, perfect for appetizers or brunch.
Ingredients

- 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz ham, sliced
- 8 oz cheese (cheddar or your choice), sliced
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Layer ham and cheese on half of the squares, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Top with remaining pastry squares and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
