Description

Delicious and flaky puff pastry stacks filled with ham and cheese, perfect for appetizers or brunch.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz ham, sliced
  • 8 oz cheese (cheddar or your choice), sliced
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  3. Layer ham and cheese on half of the squares, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with remaining pastry squares and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
