Description

Indulgent Crab Fries topped with creamy cheeses and Old Bay seasoning, reminiscent of coastal summer vibes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (20 oz) bags frozen waffle fries
  • 6 oz cream cheese, whipped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 pound jumbo lump or lump crab meat
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 3 tablespoons scallions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and bake the frozen waffle fries according to the package instructions until crispy and golden brown.
  2. Combine in a large mixing bowl the whipped cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice.
  3. Fold gently in the crab meat along with half of the shredded cheddar cheese and all of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) once the fries are done baking, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the baked fries evenly on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Top the fries with the prepared crab mixture, then sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake the assembled fries for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crab mixture is heated through.
  8. Broil the crab fries for an extra crispy finish for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with thinly sliced scallions.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use the freshest crab meat for the best flavor. Customize toppings to your preference.
