Description

A simple and delicious guide to grilling corn, perfect for summer cookouts and family gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Ears of Corn
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Butter (optional for serving)


Instructions

  1. Shuck corn (remove husks) and remove cornsilk.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Place corn on hot grill grates.
  4. Brush corn on all sides with olive oil.
  5. Cook for 8 minutes, then using tongs, turn every 4 minutes.
  6. Cook until the corn is evenly charred, about 13 to 15 minutes.
  7. Place cooked corn on a platter, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Place pats of butter on corn to serve.

Notes

For added flavor, soak the corn in water for 30 minutes before grilling. Experiment with different oils and seasonings.
