Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1 cup chocolate candies
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, pretzels, and mixed nuts.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and baking soda.
  5. Pour the mixture over the cereal and nuts, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a large baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool before adding chocolate candies.
  9. Store in an airtight container.
