Description

A decadent dessert that combines rich dark chocolate with comforting pumpkin puree, perfect for autumn gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream and dark chocolate chips; stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until smooth.
  6. Fold the chocolate mixture into the pumpkin mixture until fully combined.
  7. Pour the filling into the cooled tart crust.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  9. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy your delicious tart!
