- 200 g dark chocolate
- 300 ml heavy cream
- 80 g hazelnuts, toasted
- 60 g unsalted butter
- 150 g chocolate cookies or biscuit crumbs
- 40 g powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Toast the hazelnuts in an oven at 180°C until fragrant, then let them cool completely.
- Crush the chocolate cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter until evenly combined.
- Press the crumb mixture firmly into the base of dessert molds and refrigerate until set.
- Melt the dark chocolate gently over low heat or a water bath and allow it to cool slightly.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold half into the melted chocolate along with the powdered sugar.
- Carefully fold in the remaining whipped cream until the mixture is smooth and airy.
- Spoon the mousse over the chilled bases, smooth the tops, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, top with toasted hazelnuts, a light dusting of cocoa powder, and mint leaves.
