Description

Indulge in this easy-to-make Chocolate-Hazelnut Mousse that elegantly marries rich chocolate and nutty hazelnut flavors for a delightful dessert experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 300 ml heavy cream
  • 80 g hazelnuts, toasted
  • 60 g unsalted butter
  • 150 g chocolate cookies or biscuit crumbs
  • 40 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • Mint leaves for garnish


Instructions

  1. Toast the hazelnuts in an oven at 180°C until fragrant, then let them cool completely.
  2. Crush the chocolate cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter until evenly combined.
  3. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the base of dessert molds and refrigerate until set.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate gently over low heat or a water bath and allow it to cool slightly.
  5. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold half into the melted chocolate along with the powdered sugar.
  6. Carefully fold in the remaining whipped cream until the mixture is smooth and airy.
  7. Spoon the mousse over the chilled bases, smooth the tops, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Before serving, top with toasted hazelnuts, a light dusting of cocoa powder, and mint leaves.
