Description
A luxurious layered dessert of delicate crepes filled with rich chocolate cream, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate ganache or melted chocolate
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, and salt until you have a smooth batter.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour a small amount of batter in and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan.
- Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Repeat with remaining batter, stacking the crepes on a plate.
- Whip the heavy cream in another bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in chocolate ganache or melted chocolate until combined.
- Assemble by placing one crepe on a serving plate, spreading a layer of the chocolate cream, and repeating layers until all crepes are used.
- Dust the top with powdered sugar if desired and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For a special touch, alternate the direction of the crepes during layering for a beautiful presentation.
