- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and frothy.
- Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
- Combine the melted butter with the egg-sugar mixture and stir until well blended.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate-covered cherries and chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.
- For the topping, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering, then pour over chocolate chips in a bowl to create a ganache.
- Allow the ganache to set slightly, then pour it over the cooled brownies.
- Garnish with additional chopped cherries if desired.
