Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl and mix in the sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
