Description

An easy snack recipe that combines the zesty flavor of lime with the spice of chili, creating a flavorful and crunchy treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups salted whole cashews
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Salt (added to taste)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 300℉ and set the air frying time to 5 minutes.
  2. Mix cashews, chili powder, and brown sugar well in a medium bowl.
  3. Pour in the lime juice and mix until all nuts are coated.
  4. Arrange nuts in a single layer in the air fryer.
  5. Gently shake the basket halfway through the cooking time (after 2.5 minutes). Repeat at the 1-minute mark.
  6. Sprinkle the warm nuts with salt to taste and stir once cooking is finished.
  7. Let nuts rest in the basket for 1 minute.
  8. Arrange nuts on a clean workspace or cutting board to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week, or refrigerate for about two weeks. Can also be frozen for up to three months.
