Description

A healthier and delicious alternative to traditional pizza crust made with cauliflower. Perfect for families and health-conscious cooks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.
  3. Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor until they resemble rice or fine crumbs.
  4. Transfer the riced cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  5. Combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Mix until well combined.
  7. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into your desired pizza crust shape.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  9. Add your favorite toppings and return to the oven to bake until the cheese is melted.
  10. Slice and enjoy your cauliflower pizza!

Notes

Squeeze out moisture thoroughly for a crispy crust. Customize with herbs or spices for different flavors.
