- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Butterfinger candy bars gently.
- Drop tablespoons of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Be careful not to overbake, as you want them soft in the center! Chill your dough for 30 minutes before baking to help the cookies maintain their shape.
