Ingredients
- Taco shells
- White beans (canned or cooked)
- Buffalo hot sauce
- Cheese (shredded, optional)
- Olive oil (for frying)
- Lettuce (shredded, optional)
- Diced tomatoes (optional)
- Avocado (sliced, optional)
- Sour cream or yogurt (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mash the white beans in a bowl and mix in buffalo hot sauce to taste. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
- Fill taco shells with the bean mixture and optionally add cheese.
- Fry the tacos in the skillet until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Remove from skillet and let drain on a paper towel.
- Serve hot, topped with lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, and sour cream or yogurt if desired.
Notes
For extra crunch, warm the taco shells before frying. Taste the bean mixture to adjust buffalo sauce levels to your liking.
