Description

A delicious fusion of buffalo chicken and garlic bread, topped with gooey cheese, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf French bread (cut in half lengthwise)
  • 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1/3 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • Ranch Dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese (crumbled, optional)

Instructions

  1. Carefully slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and place it cut side up on a baking tray.
  2. Stir together melted butter, garlic, and parsley, then brush over the cut sides of the bread.
  3. Turn on the oven broiler on low and broil the bread for 4 minutes or until lightly golden brown, then remove.
  4. Change oven temperature to 375°F.
  5. Add the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce in a bowl, tossing to coat.
  6. Mix in cream cheese, half the cheddar, half the mozzarella, and green onions until combined.
  7. Spread half of the chicken mixture on each piece of toasted bread.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of each half.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese melts.
  10. Top with blue cheese and green onions, and drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing before serving.

Notes

Fresh garlic and high-quality buffalo sauce enhance the flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
